First aid was being rendered to the sole occupant by locals before Paramedics arrived. The patient was loaded into a stokes litter with the use of our rescue board and carried up the hill to the roadway where the Ambulance was located. The patient was airlifted by the Westpac Lifesaver Helicopter to hospital.
