Why Fire Trucks Are Red
Everything about a firetruck makes us stop and look at it. They’re big, bright, loud, and they carry brave people who save lives. But have you ever wondered why they’re red? The answer isn’t 100% clear, but there are a few theories out there.

Nope. Fire engines are red. Newspapers are read too. Two and two is 4, 4 x 3 is 12. There are 12 inches in a ruler. Queen Elizabeth was a ruler. Queen Elizabeth was also a ship that sailed across the sea. In the sea there are fishes. Fishes have fins. The Finns fought the Russians. Fire engines are always rushing. And THAT's why they are painted red. (Source unknown)

What is the stop light showing the red on the bottom, when red goes on the top, and green on the bottom?
