that fluid looks very weird .. how did they get the metal in the fluid? Is it grains or what?

I do... Go to www.unitednuclear.com and under then chemicals and metals page. its called magna view fluid. you only need a tiny bit. Another cool thing you can do with it is pour some directly onto a strong magnet and it will make the magnet slide across anything with almost no friction since there is just a layer of liquid under it...
