Risks life to prove physical law
Physicist Andreas Wahl knows that things rotate faster when they approach a central point. Therefore he is letting himself be dropped 14 metres towards the ground - only attached to a loose rope with a weight at the other end.

That's not rotation that saves him, it's friction. That's why he doesn't fall to the ground, even when the rotation stops.

  In the end, yes, but the required amount of friction must be built in time. This just shows that the accelerating rotation limits the needed time rapidly.

So many things that could have gone wrong with this stupid experiment. Should have been on Jack ass.

They would have tested it countless times with weight the exact same as his beforehand giving him the confidence to do it

Look at the GoPro at the end of the pipe. In some parts it is there, while on the other parts it is not. At least they tried this few times...possibly trial and error?
