If you look at carefully at the rubiks cubes after they have been mixed up by the judges, and then compare them to the two identical rubiks cubes (or 3 in the case of the big cube) they are different combinations. Which means an additional cube has been bought into the mix to replace the original. For example at 1min35 the original was probably still in the bag.
