This summer in the Northern Hemisphere we've seen some pretty exceptional temperatures, not seen in the UK since 1976. However in 76 the UK was a red blob in a mostly blue temperature map. In 2018 the UK's heatwave is a red blob in a sea of yellow and orange. This video talks about the three things that caused this scorching hot summer across the hemisphere.
