Guys test and review the two cables for structural durability using a special test rig/clamping device, having tested the two cables against each other for picture quality and finding no difference. Monster Cables claim better physical strength.

are you expecting them to film a cable not moving for a period of several years until it fails? its an exaggerated test, meaning that if the cable can withstand such abuse it can withstand regular use. it also demonstrated that the expensive cable had no benefit what so ever, despite the price tag and what it may claim

Monster HDMI cables are supposed to be used for high quality equipment. I used to sell these at work and the different in both visual and audio quality is outstanding provided that the consumer has the right gear. physical testing is useless because serious AV users will have the cables behind closed cabinets or walls. The only brand in the world with a lifetime cable warranty. If you are watching this make sure you are willing to compromise on image and sound superiority
